Waiting for your joining to be complete
Are you ever listening for His closeness
Sitting daily at His feet
Jesus longs for you to join Him
Wants you as His loving Bride
Seeks to seat you at His table
In the place of Honor, by His side

Have you been kissed by the Beloved
Joined in oneness, wed to Him
Have you left behind all darkness
And your former life of sin
Jesus longs to kiss you deeply
Waits to see you long the same
See Him standing in the pathway
He longs to take all guilt and pain

Were are you, oh bride of Jesus
Are you longing to know more of Him
Have you shunned all the world’s dainties
For the Best of Heaven to win
Shed your former lifestyle
Leave the past all behind
Seek the kisses of the Beloved
Seek His very heart to find

I’ve been kissed by the Beloved
I’ve been held close and felt His breath
But I’ve wandered far from His side
And felt again the strains of death
Now I am running to find my Beloved
Longing His caresses again to feel
To know again His Holy kisses
To be in the very center of His will

Never again alone will I wander
For my place is to be at His side
For I’ve learned that the greatest honor
Is to be His heavenly Bride
Beloved I am drawing closer
Coming again to seek Your face
Longing to be held by Your caresses
Waiting to be kissed and in Your embrace
