Do you ever get the feeling when you are at the end of a project that it is the end, I mean totally finished. This is how I am feeling today after working for many hours on compiling and editing the articles that will now become my book designed and written for Single Christian Women; the title of which is “Serving In Singleness.” Now I am not saying that this is the end of my ‘season’ of living a single life, just that this book is now complete and will soon be ready for publishing and release.
Getting to this point is something akin to the pregnancy to birth cycle that we woman experience when we have children, only without that cuddly and cute bundle of joy that you are given by God to raise and help along their path to maturity. This writing process was conceived and the ideas impregnated my mind while I went down my road toward searching for my husband. It ripened in my mind as I learned many valuable lessons about my own singleness, my position in Jesus and my role as His CHOSEN Bride. You see I wrote the chapters for this blog/book as I learned each of the lessons herein contained. Now the book is born; but not quite yet making her first public appearance. I do need to make sure she is properly ‘clothed’ which does tend to cost a bit. Hopefully she will be sitting on shelves in your local bookstore [and at a couple of websites, too] in the near future.
So now what? I have given birth to this new creation, but what am I to do now that this project is completed? What is my next great adventure? Well, at the moment I will be taking my rest in the Lord, finishing up a couple other projects and praying for God’s direction in my writing career.
